Our Story
I’m Jaco Roets, the founder of ConstructQuality, and I’ve spent the last 17 years working in construction quality management for major multinational contractors.
But the idea for this business came years ago, when I was working as a technical writer on a coal plant project. One subcontractor failed to measure a critical component—a jaw crusher aperture—because they assumed it was built correctly. That small oversight caused equipment damage, major costs, and lost them their next contract with the client.
That was the moment I realized: quality is not a box to tick—it’s the difference between long-term success and short-term survival.
After years of seeing the same preventable mistakes across countless projects, I knew I had the skills to help smaller firms who often don’t have access to the same quality expertise or systems.
So I created ConstructQuality—a consultancy built specifically for small general contractors and subcontractors who want to work smarter, protect their margins, and build a reputation for doing things right the first time.
